Welcome to the National Hifz Competition ‘TIBYAN’ organized by the Jamia Imam Nawawi r-a Foundation. We invite you to participate in this great initiative that aims to identify, honor, and encourage talents in memorizing the Holy Quran.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility
- Participants must not exceed 25 years of age as of the competition date.
- Registration must be completed before the deadline.

2. Registration
- Participants must fill in the official registration form correctly.
- Any false information may lead to disqualification.

3. Competition Rules
- Tajwīd (تَجوِيد), pronunciation, and accuracy will be strictly evaluated.
- Any misconduct, prompting, or use of unauthorized aids will result in disqualification.
- Participants must follow the time limits and instructions given by the organizers.

4. Judging & Results
- Qualified judges will evaluate based on accuracy, tajwīd, voice, and presentation.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
- No objections or appeals will be entertained.

5. Prizes & Certificates
- Winners will receive prizes and certificates as announced by the organizers.
- To be eligible for prizes, participants must be physically present at the prize distribution ceremony.

6. Code of Conduct
- Participants must maintain proper Islamic etiquette, dress, and behavior throughout the competition.
- Any disrespect towards judges, organizers, or fellow participants will lead to immediate disqualification.

7. Rights of Organizers
- The organizers reserve the right to change the schedule, venue, or rules if necessary.
- The organizers have the right to use photographs/videos of the event for promotional purposes.

TIBYAN – International HIFZ COMPETITION

Official Rules & Regulations

Eligibility

The competition is open to all individuals who are citizens or residents of [Country/Region] within the age group of [Age Range] as of [Date]. Prior champions from the last [e.g., three] years are not eligible to compete in the same category.

Registration

All participants must register online by the specified deadline and pay a non-refundable registration fee. Required documents include a valid photo ID and a recent photograph.

Competition Format

The competition will be held in two rounds: a preliminary round with randomly selected passages and a final round for selected finalists with pre-assigned portions.

Recitation Rules

Participants must recite from memory without the use of any notes, digital devices, or other aids. Only one participant is allowed on stage at a time.

Judging Criteria

Contestants will be evaluated by a panel of judges on four key areas: Hifz (accuracy of memorization), Tajweed (correct pronunciation), Sout (quality of voice and melody), and Adab (proper etiquette).

Disqualification

Any form of cheating, misconduct, or violation of these rules will result in immediate disqualification. The organizers have the right to disqualify any participant at their sole discretion.

Prizes and Certificates

Certificates are not issued online for general participation.
Participants who qualify for the Pre-Quarter round will receive their certificates online.
Those who qualify for the Quarter and Semi-Final rounds will be eligible for certificates and cash prizes, but only if they attend our TIBYAN – NATIONAL HIFZ COMPETITION Grand Finale.

Organizer's Authority

The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition or these rules at any time. All decisions made by the judging panel and the organizing committee are final and binding.

Participant Conduct

All participants must conduct themselves with respect and decorum throughout the event and adhere to the modest dress code.

Publicity & Privacy

By participating, you consent to the use of your name, photograph, and video recordings for promotional purposes by the organizers without further compensation.
